The Heartbeat

This week's edition of The Heartbeat include events where Canada's athletes will be competing at the FIS Aerials World Cup in Val Saint-Côme (QC), Curling Continental Cup in Penticton (BC), Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham (QC) and Quebec City, Figure Skating National Championships in Mississauga, FIS Moguls World Cup in Calgary, Water Polo World Qualifying in Calgary and Davis Cup Tennis in Vancouver.

Sports being televised or streamed include bobsleigh, skeleton, alpine skiing, curling, tennis, track cycling, cross-country skiing, ski-cross, biathlon, freeskiing and snowboarding. A new weekly French television show hosted by Marc Durand is also premiering this week that will feature athletes as they aim to represent Canada at the Sochi Olympics. Events to meet athletes are being held in Canmore where the Alberta Museum of Nordic Skiing has recently opened.
